Here are a few tips to help the process of buying a dress that little easier:

bulletRemember that the purchase of your bridal gown is probably going to be the most important clothing purchase you will make. It is essential you are totally happy with it.

bulletWhen having a fitting it is important that you have the correct underwear on as this will affect the way that the dress will ultimately fit you.

bulletYour shoes will be needed for dress fittings so that the length can be adjusted correctly. It is a good idea to wear the shoes before the day to get used to them, especially if they are a little higher than you are used to. It is vital they are comfortable as you will be spending a long time in them on the day. Rub the bottoms of the soles with sandpaper so that you don't slip on the day.

bulletWhen choosing headwear, it is good idea to go for a separate head dress such as a tiara and a veil so that the veil can be removed later if wished with the head dress still in place. It is a good idea to let the person who will be doing your hair on the day, see the items in advance.

bulletAfter the event, you may well find that your dress has become quite dirty due to the fact it has been on the floor. We can recommend an excellent dry cleaners who will take great care of your dress & will vacuum pack your dress away which will preserve it for longer - please ask for details.
